The box itself was exclusively designed by Experience Maine's founder. She had the idea to create a Maine Treasure Box while exploring a beach with her 4-year-old daughter. For years they have filled boxes and chests with treasures they find on their daily walks. She wanted to share some of Maine’s unique treasures with others. We encourage you to reuse the Treasure Box to keep your own Maine treasures in.
